When there exists a strong feeling among devotees and well-wishers as well as the management, since a long period, about insufficiency of space in the premises of our Temple (Sri Ayyappan Temple, Patel Gundappa Block, J. C. Nagar, BANGALORE-560006) not only for infrastructural needs but also for free circumambulation, we are all very much in an embarrassing position as there was no solution for the problem due to non-availability of suitable land.
As a surprise, the information about disposal of the adjacent land, situated just Northern part of the Temple, by the owners was reached to us as a Golden opportunity. Out of two portions of the same plot owned by different owners, we could manage to get the first half portion measuring East to West 50’ which comes to 750 Sq ft. by the Grace of Lord Ayyappa. For the purchase of this portion of land, we have advanced a sum of Rs.5001/- as token advance to the concerned owner, on 13th September, 2010 subject to legal clearance of title deeds.
Negotiation to obtain the remaining half portion of land measuring 15’ * 50’ (i.e. 750 Sqft) of the land is also in progress. Hope Lord Ayyappa may Bless us to acquire that Land also.
The total area of the land in question is East to West 50’ and North to South 30’ which works out to total 1500 Sqft. If we could acquire the entire land, we shall fulfill our long cherished desire.
It is our concern as to how we could mobilize the total cost of the land which works out to Rs. 55 Lakhs including registration and stamp duty. The management request all devotees and like minded well-wishers, to contribute their mite liberally in order to argument sufficient funds for the noble cause. Present financial position of the Temple is very meager and hence management has no other option but to approach esteemed devotees and well-wishers for financial support.
